Dunfermline Fencing Club was founded nearly 30 years ago by Rhona and Mike Gerrard with the help of The Dunfermline District Council.

Our first venue was Carnegie Centre and then for 18years at the Dunfermline Centre. Our new current venue is Masterton Primary School in Dunfermlines Eastern Expansion.

Over this period Dunfermline Fencing Club has produced many fencers in all 3 weapons and at all levels. The Club has always been lucky in its quality of coaches and a large number of its members have been selected to represent Scotland and Great Britain, from cadet to Veteran level. Our present age span is from 7 to 68 and historically we have always had an age group representative of the community at large.

The club has always welcomed fencers whatever their aspirations. The social fencer has always been as welcome as the dedicated internationalist, an attitude we have every intention of continuing.
